Tampa FL

The City of Tampa is one of the largest and most culturally diverse cities in Florida, making it an excellent choice for a family vacation. In addition to being a business center, Tampa is also a great place to spend a day, weekend, or even an entire week. You can experience a wide range of entertainment options in the area, including the popular Busch Gardens, an African-themed amusement park that includes thrill rides and animal viewing areas. Alternatively, you can visit the Ybor City neighborhood, a neighborhood originally developed by cigar-factory workers from Cuba and Spain. Today, it’s an exciting nightlife and dining destination.

The city has a total area of 175.3 square miles, with a land area of 113.4 square miles and a water area of 61.8 square miles. The city’s elevation ranges from seven to forty-eight feet above sea level, and the highest point is 48 feet above sea level. Hillsborough Bay and Old Tampa Bay surround the city, while the Hillsborough River flows directly into Downtown Tampa. During the summer, the two bodies of water provide the city with freshwater.

If you’re looking for some indoor entertainment, visit the Tampa Zoo. The city’s largest science center features more than 400,000 square feet of interactive exhibits. The zoo has an IMAX Dome Theatre, which projects images on a five-story dome-shaped screen. You can even see a planetarium show or take an exciting ride. The City of Arts and Culture is a great place to go for a night out.

The USF Botanical Gardens are home to over 3,000 plants, including an impressive collection of orchids. You can take rides through the zoo’s African habitat and take a ride on its roller coaster. If you’re interested in animals, you can also visit the Tampa Zoo at Lowry Park, which contains over 2,000 species of animals. If you’re a true animal lover, you can even go shark diving or snorkeling on regular tours. See Next Article
