The 2.6-hectare Ballast Point Park is dedicated to passive recreation. It is located at 5300 Interbay Blvd, Tampa, FL 33611. The park contains picnic areas and walking trails. Visitors can also take advantage of the bike and pedestrian access points. The site includes historic oil distribution sites, which are well-preserved and are open to the public. In addition, the park has a public barbecue, located near the Wharf Rd carpark. While these facilities are not pre-bookable, they do offer free access to the public.
Housing in Ballast Point ranges from contemporary condos to elegant single-family historic homes. The area is also home to oak-shaded waterfront estates.
